From holding the prestigious NWA World Championship to helping popularize the death match, the Funker’s hall of fame career is simply unmatched. Every single night he performed, Funk believed in leaving nothing on the table (probably because he usually broke through them). Tough as nails. Middle-aged and crazy. The Funkin’ man.
Our ode to Amarillo’s own is based off a classic shirt design from his archives. A design that he famously wore against Sabu in their no-rope barbed wire match for ECW in 1997.
